
Dead body found in Cadman Plaza Park in Downtown Brooklyn

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — On Wednesday morning, June 14, a body was discovered in Cadman Plaza Park in Downtown Brooklyn, near the intersection of Cadman Plaza and Tillary Street.
An FDNY spokesperson told the Brooklyn Eagle that dispatchers received the call at 10:47 a.m. When first responders arrived, they confirmed that the individual, who was located inside the park, was dead on arrival. FDNY lists the cause of death as cardiac arrest.
FDNY did not supply information regarding the individual’s sex or age, but a park employee said the person was male. The Eagle has reached out to the NYC Parks Department for more information.
