DOT UPDATE: Street Closures 3/10/23

Manhattan/Brooklyn

Manhattan Bridge
Single-lane Manhattan-bond lower roadway will be closed 24/7 and single-lane Manhattan-bound north upper roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm to facilitate bridge structural strengthening.

Williamsburg Bridge
Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south outer roadway will be closed from Saturday 5 am to Monday 5 am and Monday to Friday from 5 am to 7 pm. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Single-lane Manhattan-bound north outer roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 pm to 5 am and single-lane north inner roadway will be closed from 8 pm to 5 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Structural Strengthening.

Brooklyn

East 14 Street Bridge over LIRR between Avenue H and Avenue I

The northbound lane will be closed, approximately eight to nine parking spaces will be eliminated, and east sidewalk will be reduced to 5-feet, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm through March 17, 2023, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation. Two-way traffic will be maintained on one lane road, by way of flagger.

East 17 Avenue Bridge over LIRR between 54 Street and 57 Street

Northbound lanes will be closed and approximately 18 parking spaces will be eliminated from both sides, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm through March 24, 2023, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the southbound lanes.

Avenue P between East 21st Street and East 22nd Street

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 3/31/23 for use of concrete boom.

North 1st Street between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 4/30/23 for use of concrete pump and knuckle boom truck.

North 1st Street between Driggs Avenue and Bedford Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Friday through 3/25/23 for private sewer installation.

North 3 Street between River Street and Body of Water

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 4/21/23 to accommodate boom truck.

11th Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday to facilitate crane operation.

32 Street between 4 Avenue and 5 Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 4/3/23 for use of manlift.

33 Street between 4 Avenue and 5 Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 4/3/23 for use of manlift.

36th Street between 13th Avenue and Church Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 3/20/23 to facilitate crane operation.

37th Street between 13th Avenue and Old New Utrecht Road

This street will be fully closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 4/30/23 for material deliveries and concrete pours.

48 Street between 10 Avenue and Ft. Hamilton Parkway

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 3/17/23 to place crane to hoist a tank to roof.

49th Street between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 10 pm to 5 am through 4/1/23 to facilitate crane operation.

55th Street between New Utrecht Avenue and 14th Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 3/16/23 to facilitate crane operation.

58th Street between Dead End and 17th Avenue

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through 5/16/23 to facilitate crane operation.

64th Street between New Utrecht Avenue and 14th Avenue
