Women’s Bar Association will host scholarship fundraiser
The Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association has announced that it has established the Hon. Sylvia Hinds-Radix Law School Scholarship and it will host a fundraiser event to raise money for it on October 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Giando on the Water in Williamsburg.
Justice Hinds-Radix is a past president of the BWBA, is the former administrative judge of the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term, and a former Appellate Division judge in the second judicial department. She is currently serving as the NYC Corporation Counsel.
Money from the scholarship will go to a final year law school student at Brooklyn Law School who displays an interest in public service and the advancement of women in the law.
