Clarke (D-9th District/central Brooklyn) and Congressmember Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18), co-chair of the House Pakistan Caucus, have authored a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas urging the Biden Administration to bestow Temporary Protected Status (TPS) on Pakistani Nationals currently residing in the United States, following severe flooding from monsoon rains that have left more than 30 percent of Pakistan underwater and more than 33 million people impacted.
