UKRAINE — Chernobyl anniversary: Guards of Honor marched to lay a flower wreath at Chernobyl’s victim monument in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on Monday. April 26 marked the 35 years since a reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded, and the subsequent fire spewed a radioactive plume over much of northern Europe.
