ROMANIA — Protest: Anti-vaccination protesters held a doll with “I don’t want to be a lab rat” written on it backdropped by a Romanian national flag, during a rally outside the parliament building in Bucharest, on Sunday. Thousands of anti-vaccination protestors demonstrated against government pandemic control measures as authorities announced new restrictions amid a rise of COVID-19 infections.

IRAQ — Blessing: Pope Francis blessed a statue of the Virgin Mary that was vandalized by IS in the Christian village of Karemlash, as he celebrated mass at the Franso Hariri Stadium in Irbil, on Sunday. The statue was being restored after it was beheaded and its hands chopped during the occupation by the IS of the Nineveh Plains between 2014 and 2017.

KASHMIR — Refugee: A Rohingya refugee girl stood at a makeshift camp on the outskirts of Jammu on Sunday. Authorities in Indian-controlled Kashmir sent at least 168 Rohingya refugees to a holding center in a process which they say is to deport thousands of refugees living in the region.
