Doralyn De Dios installed as president of the Dominican Bar Association

The Dominican Bar Association held a ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Southern District of New York courthouse to install Doralyn De Dios as its new president.

Justice Jenny Rivera, an associate judge of the Court of Appeals, presided over the ceremony and District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and Chief of Staff Maritza Mejia-Ming were on hand to show their support.

De Dios, a St. John’s University and New York Law School graduate, works at the Kings County DA’s Office as an assistant district attorney in the Integrated Domestic Violence Bureau.

Other officers who were installed included Atenedoro Gonzalez as the vice president, Jeffrey Saavedra as treasurer, Peter Garcia as corresponding secretary, and Keila Espinosa as recording secretary.
