Missing Brooklyn Tech student, 14, found (Updated)

Update (Jan. 15 at 9:56 a.m.): The teen was found on Tuesday and safely returned home, according to police.

Original article: Police and family members are searching for a 14-year-old Brooklyn Technical High School student missing since entering a subway station after school last week.

Jenna Hospedales was last seen at about 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 entering the G train station at Fulton Street and South Elliot Place, according to the NYPD 77th Precinct. She never made it home.

According to police and an Instagram post by a family member, Jenna is black, 118 lbs. and 5’8”. She was last seen wearing dark jeans, a black coat and carrying a gray book bag.

She is a freshman, CBS New York reported. Crystal Hospedales, the missing girl’s cousin, told CBS, “She is not a child who is super on social media. She’s not a child that dates. She’s not a child that has a wild side. She has never left home, so we are extremely concerned.”

Her family has hung flyers across the neighborhood and has posted requests for help on social media.
