Suspects in Brooklyn Heights swastika spree arrested

NYPD announced on Monday that officers have arrested two young men who allegedly drew swastikas on garage doors on Garden Place in Brooklyn Heights last week.
The suspects were identified as Jarrick Wiltshire, 18, and Daul Moultrie, 17. The two have each been charged with three counts of aggravated harassment for the alleged hate crime, according to CBSNewYork.
The incident is one of several suspected hate crimes in Brooklyn during the same week, CBSNewYork reported. Another defendant, James Polite, has been charged with writing graffiti such as “Kill the Jews” and “Hitler” inside the Union Temple on Eastern Parkway as well as setting fires in the Jewish area of Williamsburg.
In Manhattan, police are still looking for suspects after the African Burial Ground National Monument was defaced with racist graffiti last week.
