Right between Barclays Center and Grand Army Plaza, a four-bedroom penthouse is about to hit the market at a record-setting $7.71 million, the highest price Prospect Heights has ever seen.
The building in question is 550 Vanderbilt, part of the 22-acre Pacific Park (formerly known as Atlantic Yards) development spearheaded by mega-developer Bruce Ratner. The penthouse is 2,969 square feet, with 10-foot ceilings, oversize windows, a chef’s kitchen and more, the New York Post reported.
Amenities at 550 Vanderbilt include a library, a gym, a rooftop terrace with communal gardens, a children’s playroom and even a pet grooming space.
A source told the Post that rapper and producer Common toured the building last year.
