To celebrate the new adidas POD-S3.1 running shoe design, the well-known sporting goods company plans to open a temporary creative communal space in Williamsburg known as Factory 55. The studio will encourage local creative professionals to learn new skills, interact with each other and help direct the brand’s path, according to HYPEBEAST.

The new space will host public workshops, lab sessions and a roster of local artists, designers and musicians. It will also hold seminars in producing magazines and posters, an introduction to screen-printing T-shirts and a neighborhood photography session, HYPEBEAST reported. Factory 55 will also host a pop-up retail space for local creatives to sell products, an art exhibit displaying street art and a merchandise customization studio. The space will be open to the public from Aug. 2-5. For more information and to sign up, visit https://www.adidas.com/us/factory55.
