The FDNY reported a three-alarm fire inside a building at 764 57th St. at around 2:19 p.m. Monday.

There have been reports of a multiple dwelling fire from the basement to the third floor. Fire officials claim that flames are also extending through electrical wires to 5618 Eighth Ave.

FDNY reps say there are no reported injuries at this time but that firefighters are still on scene putting out the blaze.

A witness said the fire might have originated from sparking power lines due to a power outage that left thousands of homes without power in southern Brooklyn Monday afternoon.

Con Edison was seen working on power lines around 61st Street and 11th Avenue during the time of the fire.
