On June 24, select members of the Bishop Kearney High School choir performed at Carnegie Hall. They joined school choirs from around the world in Distinguished Concert International New York’s concert Song/Play.

The choir was directed by composer and conductor Francisco Nuñez.  The repertoire included several pieces composed by Nuñez, including the world premiere of Liminality.

On June 25, the Bishop Kearney High School community held a Welcome Barbecue for members of the Class of 2022. Incoming students and their families enjoyed the evening with Kearney students, faculty, staff and alumnae in the school’s garden.

Dr. Margaret Minson, head of school, welcomed the group and encouraged the incoming students and their parents to get involved in the Kearney community.

Students who are part of the Student Council conducted tours of the school, and faculty members answered questions. Staff members provided helpful information, and alumnae shared their fondest memories. Even the Kearney Tiger was there to greet attendees!
