Maimonides honors 1,800 volunteers at Paradise Manor
Four hundred guests packed into the Paradise Manor catering hall in Brooklyn on Wednesday, June 6 as Maimonides Medical Center celebrated their work as volunteers.
A total of 1,800 people volunteered their time to work at the hospital doing various tasks that helped the operations run more smoothly and efficiently.
“Our volunteers assist with foreign language interpretation, administrative tasks, supportive services and recreational activities for patients,” said Alyssa Alario, a spokesperson for Maimonides.
