Hispanic-oriented TV network HITN is expanding its headquarters at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, according to Crain’s New York Business

The nonprofit station will more than double its space at Building 292 within the city-controlled Navy Yard. Mike Nieves, president and CEO of HITN, told Crain’s the new space will be used to increase the size of the network’s production facilities. A new 3,000-square-foot enclosed studio on the building’s roof will offer views of the Manhattan skyline. All in all, in addition to the roof space, the network’s facilities will grow from 21,000 square feet to about 46,000. The expansion will add 50 to 60 new jobs, the Navy Yard estimated.
