Tony Danza, Josh Groban andĀ Monica Barbaro were among the stars seen filming Friday, January 19 in Bay Ridge.

The trio — joined by other cast and crew members — were spotted shooting scenes for the forthcoming Netflix series “The Good Cop” onĀ  both commercial and residential blocks. Filming was done such places as Ridge Boulevard between 77th and 74th Street, 77th Street between Colonial Road and Ridge Boulevard, Shore Road between 78th Street and 74th Street and Third Avenue between 76th Street and 77th Street, among other locales.

The “dramedy”Ā centers on the “odd couple” of Tony Sr. (Danza) — a disgraced former NYPD officer who never followed the rules — and his son, Tony Jr. (Groban) — an earnest obsessively honest NYPD detective who meticulously follows those same rules his father was known to disregard.

Barbaro playsĀ Cara Vasquez, a street smart and self-assured detective on the All-City Homicide Task Force whoĀ believes in getting the job done, even if that means bending the rules.

This was not the first time “The Good Cop” chose Bay Ridge as its backdrop. The show laid claim to parts of the ‘hood in late December as well.
