Authorities are seeking two men wanted in connection to the robbery of a man at knifepoint inside a train station in Bensonhurst.
Police say that on Thursday, November 9 around 10 p.m., the two crooks followed a 33-year-old man from the platform to the mezzanine area as he exited the northbound D train at the 62nd Street station, at New Utrecht Avenue. One of the perps took out a knife and demanded the victim’s property, while the second perp grabbed him. One of the perps then nabbed the victim’s cell phone and wallet, which contained $600, a credit card and a Guatemala identification card.
The perps then fled the station in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.
