74-year-old woman struck by car and killed in Gravesend

A 74-year-old woman was hit and killed by a driver while crossing the street in Gravesend.
According to authorities, on Friday, November 24, at around 5:45 p.m. Judith Holmes was crossing 86th Street and West Eighth Street mid-block north to south around 120 feet west of the intersection when a 2015 Ford SUV traveling eastbound on 86th Street struck her, causing head trauma.
EMS transported her to NYU Langone- Brooklyn where she died on Tuesday, November 28.
