Assemblymember Colton hosts annual Halloween Candy Bash
Trick or treat!
It was a Happy Halloween for over local 100 kids as Assemblymember William Colton hosted his annual Halloween Candy Bash.
From 3-5 p.m. on October 31, children, who dressed up as superheroes, Lego characters, Minions and more, were able to trick or treat at the assemblymember’s community office, 155 Kings Highway, for goody bags and games.
“Last year, my office began a tradition of celebrating Halloween with the neighborhood children,” Colton said. “We handed out flyers with safety tips and candy. This year, we handed out printouts of educational activities and puzzles and, of course, more candy. We had a great turnout of over 125 children. I met candy-loving dinosaurs, Disney princesses, superheroes and many more. Parents were delighted to have a safe environment for their children to come trick or treat. I am already looking forward to next year’s Halloween and planning for it to be an even bigger celebration.”
