Bella Voce Singers to perform in Bay Ridge church

The latest offering in the “Art on the Corner” series at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Bay Ridge will be a concert starring the female choir Bella Voce Singers.

The concert, called “Arise,” will feature the Bella Voce Singers singing songs written by Libby Larsen, Mary Goetze, György Ligeti and Rosephanye Powell, as well as new pieces written by choir members Lily White and Karen Lurie.

The concert will take place April 30 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7420 Fourth Ave., at 3 p.m. The doors will open at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the choir’s website at and are also available at the door on the day of the concert.

The Bella Voce Singers give numerous concerts throughout the year, including regularly scheduled performances in Park Slope and Bay Ridge. 

Art on the Corner is the arts ministry of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
