A 53-year-old woman was held at knifepoint in broad daylight by a 30-year-old man on Tuesday, February 14, according to police.

Cops say that the woman was walking eastbound at 62nd Street and Sixth Avenue at around 1:15 p.m. when the perp, who was walking westbound, showed her a knife and ordered her to give him her handbag. Before she could respond, police say he grabbed the bag containing $600 and credit cards, and pushed her on the floor.

The man then fled the scene.
