Alleged argument over drugs turns violent in Bensonhurst

After an argument over drugs, two friends got physical, causing one of them to beat the other with a bat near Bay Seventh and 86^th Streets on Thursday, September 1 at around 5:50 p.m.

According to police, a 20-year-old man began to punch his 23-year-old friend and later hit him in the head, neck and back with the baseball bat.

The assailant, who might have not have been alone in attacking his friend, as cops listed two other unknown perps in the report, fled in an unknown direction and the 23-year-old was taken to NYU Lutheran Medical Center.
