If you need a lawyer, the place to go is state Assemblymember Pamela Harris’s office.

Harris (D-Coney Island-Dyker Heights-Bay Ridge) is working with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) to provide free legal assistance for her constituents.

On Monday, Aug. 15, the NYLAG mobile van will be parked outside Harris’ district office at 8525 Third Ave. in Bay Ridge from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents can seek help with any civil legal issues they’re facing, including problems with Medicaid, Medicare and other public assistance programs, according to Harris’ office. Counsel provided by NYLAG attorneys is free and confidential.

Residents are advised to bring with them all relevant documents and paperwork pertaining to their legal issues.
