“The Deuce” is back.

Bay Ridge has once again been chosen as the backdrop for the forthcoming HBO drama series, “The Deuce,” starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

The show — which, earlier this month, was seen filming in Sunset Park staples like Johnny’s Pizzeria and The Irish Haven, as well as along Shore Road in early June — will film on Wednesday, July 20 near Narrows Avenue and 87th Street.

Yellow signage taped to street poles warned drivers that their cars needed to be moved by 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19 for today’s filming. Any cars not moved in time would be towed to the nearest legal spot, the sign read.

“The Deuce” — slated to premiere in 2017 — spotlights the rise of the porn industry in Midtown Manhattan from the early 1970s through the mid-’80s, according to deadline.com. Franco (who, at times, also serves as the show’s director) will play two roles –twin brothers who became became mob fronts in Times Square’s lucrative sex industry, while Gyllenhaal will play the role of a prostitute.
