Puppetry Arts Festival of Brooklyn coming to Park Slope

Brooklyn-Puppetry Arts New York will host its annual Puppetry Arts Festival in Park Slope this year with an array of crafts, puppet shows and special guests. The festival takes place on June 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the J.J. Byrne Playground (Fourth Street at Fifth Avenue).
For more than 12 years, Puppetry Arts has organized events for children of all ages. Activities include puppet-making crafts, spin art and more.
Puppetry Arts Director Tim Young says the events “support affordable and accessible enriching family activities. However, they also support civic engagement by local and national businesses, as well as over 100 middle and high school student volunteers per event. It’s a good thing all the way around.”
All events have free admission (activities are $2-$5 each) and are open to the public, rain or shine.
