Partners in law are now partners for life.

It was an extravagant affair with some of the biggest members of the Brooklyn legal community and a few celebrities in attendance as Arthur Aidala and Marianne Bertuna got married at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan on Saturday.

Bertuna, who is president of the Columbian Lawyers Association, First Department, has worked alongside Aidala ever since she joined Arthur L. Aidala & Associations in 2001. In 2008, she became a partner in the firm that is now known as Aidala, Bertuna & Kamins. The couple initially announced their engagement during Aidala’s installation ceremony as president of the Brooklyn Bar Association on June 17, 2015, in front of more than 400 people at the New York Marriot at the Brooklyn Bridge.

Many VIPs of the Brooklyn legal community attended the wedding, including the couple’s law partners Hon. Barry Kamins and Hon. Michael Pesce, who performed the ceremony. Celebrities in attendance included Sheppard Smith and Geraldo Rivera, of FOX News, and attorney Alan Dershowitz.
