Narrows Community Theater presents romantic comedy ‘Men Are Dogs’

The Narrows Community Theater, a Bay Ridge performing arts group, will present “Men Are Dogs,” a romantic comedy written by playwright Joseph Simonelli, for two weekends at St. Patrick Catholic Academy, Fourth Avenue and 97th Street, starting Feb. 19.

The performance schedule is as follows: Friday, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.

Directed by Dawn Barry Hansen, “Men Are Dogs” centers on the personal entanglements of Dr. Cecilia Monahan, a successful psychologist.

The cast is led by Allison Greaker as Monahan. The performers also include James McDermott, Christa Comito, Greg Mueller, Jennifer Prezioso, Victoria Herva-Castenada, Ava Cheung and Michele Manduchi.

Following the Feb. 20 performance, the playwright, director and cast will be available for a question and answer session with the audience to talk about their experiences with the show.
