Brooklyn pols offer snow shoveling help
As the city geared for a major snow storm set to hit the East Coast this weekend, two Brooklyn City Council members said they are teaming up with a nonprofit organization to provide snow shoveling for senior citizens and disabled residents.
Workers from Wildcat Service Corporation, a nonprofit organization that provides litter sweeping services in many business areas in the borough, will be out shoveling snow from Bay Ridge to Coney Island, thanks to Councilmembers Vincent Gentile and Mark Treyger.
The service will be available to senior citizens and disabled residents living in the lawmakers’ council districts.
