Terrier Tuesday Celebration Includes Focus on Athletics, Academic Excellence
As hundreds of new St. Francis College students attended a block party to meet their classmates this week, they learned that once again, U.S. News & World Report has ranked the school as a Top Regional College in the North. St. Francis was also ranked fourth for ethnic diversity in the region.
“Our faculty, staff and administrators are focused on creating the best environment for our students,” said St. Francis College President Brendan J. Dugan ’68. “We work hard every day to give them the tools they need to succeed. Being recognized in a publication like U.S. News shows what we’re doing is working.”
U.S. News bases its rankings on a number of factors including graduation rates, faculty resources and assessments of excellence from peer colleges.
