
Interfaith displays ‘Wellness’ art show

Art Show at Interfaith: Interfaith Medical Center showcased 37 works by five Brooklyn-based artists at “Wellness,” an art show depicting images that convey togetherness and unity through mediums that include stained glass, kiln-formed glass, mosaic, paper collage, assemblages, paintings and prints. Shown are the show’s curator Danny Simmons and Sharonnie Perry, Interfaith Medical Center’s director of community relations. The show was organized by Ken Wright. Other members of the close-knit community of African artists include Karl McIntosh, Jimmy James Greene, Sadikisha Collier and Deborah Singletary. “Wellness” can be viewed in the hospital’s lobby through Friday, April 17.
