Who could work Wednesday afternoon?

Winter-weary Brooklynites headed outdoors as temps soared towards 60 degrees after weeks of near-arctic unpleasantness.

Longing for some sunlight, many sought out the shoreline at Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO.

And who could blame them? On Friday night, rain will be headed our way, and it will soak our Saturday, Weather.com warns.

What better place to ruminate than Brooklyn Bridge Park (photo below)?

It was a good day for an open-air photo shoot.

There was still snow on the ground. But so what? It was sooo nice to be outside.

The stunning Lower Manhattan skyline beckoned photographers.

Some preferred to take pictures of birds.

A fire boat appeared.

With the holiday quickly approaching, the Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance on the beach. Who could blame him for jumping the gun on his big day?
