Early morning blaze at Bensonhurst building

According to the FDNY, firefighters responded to a second-floor fire at a mixed occupancy building at around 6:18 a.m. on Sunday, January 25.

The incident took place at 6612 New Utrecht Avenue and was considered an all hands fire.

The fire was under control at approximately 7:20 a.m. and is currently under investigation – there is no known cause.
