Bridge and Tunnel Closures
According to the Metropolitan Transit Authority, there will be multiple closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River Lift Span in both directions on Monday, January 26 between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. for maintenance work.
Motorists should expect delays and use an alternate route if possible. Each closure should last up to approximately 20 minutes.
Additionally, one tube at the Hugh L Carey Tunnel will be closed this Saturday, January 24 between 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. for maintenance work. The remaining tube will have one lane operating in each direction during this time.
