Malliotakis reflects on 10-day trip to China
Assemblymember Nicole Malliotakis is happy to be home after a 10-day U.S. delegation visit to China, having been chosen by the China-U.S. Foreign Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) as one of eight “up and coming leaders” in American government.
“Our relationship with China is one of the most important bilateral relationships in world, with the countries conducting $600 billion in annual trade,” stressed the Staten Island and South Brooklyn politician. “This was a unique opportunity to examine the interaction between China and the United States in a global economy, the growing opportunities to bring American products and services to one of the world’s largest and fastest growing markets, and the nation’s rigorous education system.”
Those opportunities, she said, are only growing.
