McDonald Avenue crash throws driver, front passenger from window
Two men were critically injured on Saturday, October 11 after they were ejected from the driver and passenger seats of their minivan when it collided with an elevated train track pillar on McDonald Avenue around 1:40 a.m. in the confines of the 66th Precinct.
Cops say the car – a Toyota Sienna – was speeding northbound on McDonald Avenue between Avenue M and Bay Parkway when it rear-ended another minivan – a Black Honda Odyssey — and then smashed into an F train track support beam.
The front two passengers, ages 23 and 25, were thrown through the windshield of the vehicle and the three passengers in the backseat were also injured, officials said.
