Brooklyn Chamber to kick off Italian Restaurant Week with sneak peek at Il Centro
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is kicking off its Second Annual Italian Restaurant Week, which will take place Oct. 8 to 15, with a commencement party on Oct. 7 at Il Centro in Bensonhurst. The event will allow for a sneak peek at the Federation of Italian American Organizations’ new cultural community center, and participating restaurants will showcase their culinary talents. Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Carlo Scissura will attend the kickoff ceremony.
The weeklong festival of Italian cuisine will feature 42 restaurants from neighborhoods across the borough — from DUMBO to Sheepshead Bay to Bensonhurst.
