NYPD seeks attempted rapist in Greenpoint attack
A woman fought off an attempted rapist early Sunday morning in Greenpoint and police have released a video of the suspect in the hopes that someone recognizes him.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned man with dark hair in his 20s, wearing T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
He allegedly grabbed the 25-year-old woman from behind at around 2:56 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, pushing her up against a wall at the corner of Morgan and Driggs Avenue and attempting to rape her.
