On Wednesday, August 27, members of the Francesco Loccisano Memorial Foundation (Frankie’s Mission), a non-profit organization that serves the childhood cancer community, received the honor of ringing the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

The recognition came in advance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed in September. The event was in memory of Loccisano, who died in 2007 of leukemia.
