ON THIS DAY in 1911, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle published an article titled “Sisters Are Reunited.”  The article focused on two Brooklyn sisters who were reunited after seven years of separation.
The young women, who ware 23 and 17 years of age, respectively, had been separated for seven years, both having been left with their brother, William, in the Industrial Home of Brooklyn when they were babies,” the article reported.
