Kings County Housing Court Bar Association celebrates 13th annual awards luncheon
The Kings County Housing Court Bar Association (KCHCBA) celebrated its 13th annual awards luncheon Monday at the Forchelli Conference Center at Brooklyn Law School.
KCHCBA President Michael Rosenthal welcomed attendees with call for more members. “This is not a landlord’s bar,” Rosenthal reminded seeking additional members from all aspects of landlord/tenant law.
Brooklyn Housing Court Judge Hannah Cohen and court attorney Damian Secaira-Cotto were among the afternoon’s honorees.
Court officer John Campisi was honored as the first court officer to receive a KCHCBA award.
Actively practicing law for over 40 years, veteran housing court attorney Richard Koeppel reflected fondly on his years in housing court as he accepted his award.
