The coolest breakfast place in East Williamsburg is Dun-Well Doughnuts at 222 Montrose Ave.

It serves up more than 200 flavors of vegan doughnuts – which are absolutely tasty, even if you are a carnivore. Trust us on this. Plus, in 2012 the Daily News declared them the best doughnuts in all of New York City.

BTW, if you want cow’s milk in your coffee instead of the soy kind, you can take the pretty pastries across the street to coffee shop Cup at 221 Montrose Ave. – which doesn’t sell baked goods. The staff doesn’t mind if you BYOD (bring your own doughnuts).
