De Blasio: NYC must attract, retain good teachers

Mayor Bill de Blasio says he’ll make it a “personal crusade” to attract and retain good teachers.
De Blasio said Monday on public radio station WNYC that it will be a central goal of his administration.
He added that respect for the profession is a “huge dynamic” that was a problem in the previous administration.
