City DEP makes water bill payment easier, lowers fees, extends hours
The city Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) hopes some of their new changes will make measuring, paying and asking questions about your water bill a bit easier. A new website, DEP QuickPay, will allow homeowners with multiple accounts to consolidate payments, and a new pay-by-phone system will allow payments via smartphone or tablet.
In addition, DEP office hours have been extended in all five boroughs until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Brooklyn office is located on the eighth floor of 250 Livingston Street.
