Brooklyn’s bucolic Green-Wood Cemetery will be open to joggers for six hours on Friday.
The historic cemetery is accommodating runners who may be inconvenienced by the closure of parts of Prospect Park due to President Barack Obama’s visit to Brooklyn Friday.
Joggers will be allowed inside Green-Wood from noon to 6 p.m. this Friday only. Runners are normally prohibited from cemetery grounds.
Runners can enter Green-Wood at 25th Street and 5th Avenue or at 35th Street and 4th Avenue.
Parking is available at the 25th Street entrance, between the entrance gate and the Gothic Arch.
Joggers are asked to show respect for those visiting the grave sites of loved ones.
