Celebrate Bastille Day at MetroTech
Celebrate Bastille Day this Saturday, July 13, at MetroTech Commons, where La Defense Bakery and Bistro will host an all-day celebration featuring Downtown Brooklyn’s own Petanque Tournament on professional-grade courts, plus food, live music, and more.
This year’s Summer@MetroTech programming was curated to cater to the growing creative and high-tech office community that has blossomed at MetroTech. Other highlights include:
- Sports in the Commons: The summer’s hottest sporting events will be broadcast live on the big screen.
- BEAT Festival: The festival for emerging Brooklyn theater artists will bring a number of performances to the Commons in September.
- Rooftop Films Presents: Rooftop Films will curate three groundbreaking film presentations for Summer@MetroTech. The final film, “North of South, West of East,” is scheduled for August 2. This one-of-a-kind cinematic experience will surround the audience on all four sides by screens as the separate channels of the film play simultaneously.
