Bloomberg instates odd/even license place system for gasoline

From the 68th Precinct Community Council:

Mayor Bloomberg signed anexecutiveorder to establish an odd-even license plate system for gasoline purchase to help reduce wait times and lines at gas stations in the five boroughs.

If you have a license plate that ends in an odd number you will be able to get gas on odd numbereddays of the month.

If you have a license plate that ends in an even number you will be able to get gas on even numbered days of the month.

If your license plate ends with a zero you will be able to get gas on even numbered days of the month.

If you license plate does not end with a number, but instead a letter, you will be able to get gas on odd numbered days of the month.

This system will be in effect as of tomorrow (Friday) at 6:00 a.m. and it will be enforced.
