City Island Students Catch Glimpse of Brooklyn Criminal Court

Eighth-graders from the St. Mary Star of the Sea School on City Island, Bronx, visited the Brooklyn Criminal Court last week, where Court Officer Christopher Conroy (pictured) led the boys and girls to various court parts and courtrooms, where the students witnessed actual cases be called. Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge John Hecht also spoke to the children prior to presiding over arraignments last Monday at the Downtown Brooklyn courthouse.
