Today, 651 Arts and the Kumble Theater at LIU Brooklyn will present a special edition of the live interview series, “Live and Outspoken,” with actor Blair Underwood and dancer-actress Carmen de Lavallade, moderated by radio host Esther Armah. The program will take place at 7 p.m. at the Kumble Theater, 1 University Plaza. Among other things, Underwood and de Lavallade will discuss their roles in the upcoming Broadway production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
Today at 5 p.m., the Midwood Development Corp. will hold a free banking workshop for neighborhood workshops. The guest speaker will be Yan Baron of Amalgamated Bank. The workshop will take place at the group’s offices, 1416 Avenue M.
