BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — Not to be outdone by Grand Theft Auto creator Dan Houser and his recent purchase of just one $12.5 million townhouse on Willow Street, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are about to close on two, count ’em, two Brooklyn Heights townhouses, according to the Daily News.

The “Sex and the City” star and her famous truant of a husband will soon be the owners of two adjacent townhouses on State Street near Sidney Place. Befitting the majestic union of Carrie Bradshaw and Ferris Bueller, the properties will be combined to “create an urban mansion of approximately 7,000-plus square feet with a suburban-size backyard,” according to the News.

The couple is planning to move to the Heights from their current residence on Charles Street in the West Village because, as a reportedly knowledgeable source told the News, they “wanted something more private, laid-back and discreet.”

The couple’s new properties, which will have plenty of space for their son and twin daughters, will be purchased in an off-market transaction, meaning that the houses weren’t officially for sale, according to the News.
