Got an old computer? Bring it to the recycling fair!
Community Board 10 and members of the Xaverian High School Robotics Team are working together to organize an Electronics Recycling event for southern Brooklyn residents who want to get rid of old computers, monitors, fax machines and other dinosaurs of the digital age.
The recycling event will take place on Saturday, April 6, in the parking lot of Xaverian High School, located on Narrows Avenue between 71st and 72nd Streets, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents can bring all sorts of items to be recycled, including scanners, printers, DVD players, phones, answering machines, microwaves, loose batteries, even refrigerators and air conditioners. Cable television and satellite receivers will also be accepted.
